Music Video of the Month: Secret Love Song



Dear Visitor,

It is February so that means Valentine's Day and love songs! I picked Secret Love Song by Little Mix. I stumbled across this song when I was flipping through Kastle fan videos. Kastle (Frank Castle & Karen Page) from The Punisher, is one of my favorite ships. Anyway, when I found this song in it's entirety, I was reading the comments and found that many people from the LGBTQ community really attached to Secret Love Song Part 2 by Little Mix. It's basically the same song minus Jason Derulo. Taking a step back and listening to the words, you can really understand the feelings of forbidden love. My favorite line is "Why can't I say that I'm in love? I want to shout it from the rooftops". This song just has beautiful lyrics!

Have you ever been in that situation where you were never allowed to express the love you have for someone?

Danger in The Mist

Dear Visitor, How about THE MIST? I have been excited for this show for a while! Although, I was a little underwhelmed. Right out the gate they pile on a ton of Social Justice issues. I'm all for using entertainment to discussing real issues, but it was all on the nose. There was rape, slut shaming, homophobia, racism, comments on "toxic masculinity", and evil white cops. I think they could've used the rest of the season to bring up all these issues. You know, spread out the issues to push the story along. People are going to be confined to small spaces; claustrophobia and paranoia are bound to set in. I'm really worried that this show is going to be constant virtue signaling and so far other commenters are saying the same thing. I did enjoy how scary The Mist seemed.
