MG's Haunted Library

Dear Visitor, I finally went to go see FLATLINERS (2017) a couple of weeks ago and I must say that I didn't hate it. Critics have been giving some nasty ratings, even Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 0% rating. Here's what it's about. Courtney (Ellen Page) is a med student who wants to know what happens to a person after they die. She enlists the help of her classmates Jamie (James Norton) and Sophia (Kiersey Clemons) to stop her heart, record what happens to her brain, and revive her. Fellow classmates Ray (Diego Luna) and Marlo (Nina Dobrev) stumble on what going on and help out. For the ones that actually flatline, they unknowingly bring back past sins that haunted them. There were some nice jump scares to it, the story wasn't bad, but there was just something missing from it. Dear Visitor, I've always been fascinated with mythology of any kind. When I was a kid, my friends and I used to LOVE reading Greek and Egyptian mythology. We would sneak a library book into the playground during recess(it was prohibited to bring library books outside) and read these stories. We used to pretend that we were this gods and make up our own adventures. It was our favorite game to play. So when they announced AMERICAN GODS was going to be a show, I was enthusiastic about it. I was mostly interested because Bryan Fuller is involved with the show and I absolutely loved HANNIBAL so I  knew that this show would be gory as well as beautiful. Honestly, HANNIBAL was a work of art on a television screen. Despite the gruesome crime scenes and psychedelic dream sequences, it was pleasing to the eye.
