Horror Fridays: The Cloverfield Paradox

Dear Visitor, During the Super Bowl, Netflix premiered the trailer for THE CLOVERFIELD PARADOX and I about lost my mind with excitement. I love the Cloverfield franchise! So I was definitely excited about an installment set in outer space. However, it turns out not many people were happy with it like I was. I'm not saying that THE CLOVERFIELD PARADOX was perfect. You didn't really connect with the characters which is rather upsetting since the cast was stellar. There was also a little confusion with the arm. How was it able to tell the crew what they needed to know to fix the navigation? The loudest complaint I heard was that people were confused about what happened to the crew. I didn't understand the confusion. The characters literally tell you what happened and before they start up their machine, you hear a news report of a scientist explaining what the "Cloverfield Paradox" is. Seriously, pay attention! Personally, I liked this movie...

Dear Visitor, It still pains me that AGENT CARTER only had two seasons. If feminists wanted a show about a strong independent woman, they could look no farther than Agent Peggy Carter. Anyway, this fan video plays to THAT MAN by CARO EMERALD. I've never heard of Caro Emerald before but I'm so happy that I found her. Dear Visitor, Welcome to my haunted library. I'm so glad you could join me. Here's some background on how I ended up here. Originally, I collaborated with a friend on a different blog known as Damsels With Chainsaws. I was known as Damsel Bruja. It was great for a while because we are both great lovers of the horror genre. But alas, great empires will fall apart. This election was a real sore spot between us. I thought that our friendship could endure. I'm of the mind that you are allowed to have different political opinions and still be the best of friends. I guess my politics was too much for her. What resulted was being blocked on twitter, no texts, no calls, no emails, and no continued collaboration on our blog. Now understand, I don't blame her one bit.
