Happy Thanksgiving!

Apologies for the late post, or rather, blank post for most of the day. I thought I had this post scheduled for Saturday. Anyways, I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving surrounded by your loved ones. I do want to mention that I may be late on posts until mid-December. I have finals coming soon and I really need to focus on those for now. But I might be able to squeeze in a post or two. It depends if I'm feeling brave or not.

Danger in The Mist

Dear Visitor, How about THE MIST? I have been excited for this show for a while! Although, I was a little underwhelmed. Right out the gate they pile on a ton of Social Justice issues. I'm all for using entertainment to discussing real issues, but it was all on the nose. There was rape, slut shaming, homophobia, racism, comments on "toxic masculinity", and evil white cops. I think they could've used the rest of the season to bring up all these issues. You know, spread out the issues to push the story along. People are going to be confined to small spaces; claustrophobia and paranoia are bound to set in. I'm really worried that this show is going to be constant virtue signaling and so far other commenters are saying the same thing. I did enjoy how scary The Mist seemed.
