The NIGHT TERRORS app!

Image
Dear Visitor, I came across this app while goofing around on Facebook. This game turns your own home into a haunted house. It comes with ghouls and jump scares! Sounds cool, right? According to the instructions, you need to play this game in the dark and with your headphones on. However, that's not a requirement. I've tinkered with it during the day with natural sunlight in the house and it still worked. But it is pretty scary to play with in the dark. I've played with it a little bit and it made me nervous. My heart was pounding and I had to look away from the screen a few time to get myself to calm down. Personally, what captured my attentions was the warning label. I took a snapshot of it above. So when you play this game, please watch your step! I'll have a trailer for the game down below. I think it was fun and I'll be playing with it some more in the future. Enjoy the scares, M.G.

Let's Talk AMERICAN GODS

Image
Dear Visitor, I've always been fascinated with mythology of any kind. When I was a kid, my friends and I used to LOVE reading Greek and Egyptian mythology. We would sneak a library book into the playground during recess(it was prohibited to bring library books outside) and read these stories. We used to pretend that we were this gods and make up our own adventures. It was our favorite game to play. So when they announced AMERICAN GODS was going to be a show, I was enthusiastic about it. I was mostly interested because Bryan Fuller is involved with the show and I absolutely loved HANNIBAL so I  knew that this show would be gory as well as beautiful. Honestly, HANNIBAL was a work of art on a television screen. Despite the gruesome crime scenes and psychedelic dream sequences, it was pleasing to the eye. I just knew that we could get that crazy flavor with AMERICAN GODS and I wasn't disappointed.  The show begins with Shadow Moon(Ricky Whittle), being released e

Welcome To My Haunted Library

Dear Visitor, Welcome to my haunted library. I'm so glad you could join me. Here's some background on how I ended up here. Originally, I collaborated with a friend on a different blog known as Damsels With Chainsaws. I was known as Damsel Bruja. It was great for a while because we are both great lovers of the horror genre. But alas, great empires will fall apart. This election was a real sore spot between us. I thought that our friendship could endure. I'm of the mind that you are allowed to have different political opinions and still be the best of friends. I guess my politics was too much for her. What resulted was being blocked on twitter, no texts, no calls, no emails, and no continued collaboration on our blog. Now understand, I don't blame her one bit. I've always believed everyone is entitled to their feelings and beliefs. All I can do is hope that we will reconcile and pray that she and her family continue to be happy and healthy. An
